Trốn cafe

One of the best cafe/bar I been to so far in Vietnam. When I first order their signature drink, Trốn, I immediately fell in love and had to return multiple times to experience as many drinks as possible. If you are looking for an aesthetic place to have a photo shoot, have a date night or just need a place to relax then I highly recommend Trốn cafe.

Stopped in to hydrate and refuel on some famous Vietnamese coffee! Little bit hard to find but just continue down the small unmarked narrow alley from main street all the way to the end. Ordered 2x coconut coffee because it was soo good + cold orange brew. Exceeded expectations. Staff very welcoming. Super chill. We chose to sit inside (ac!) Moody but elegant ambiance, dreamy downtempo music vibes with all around dark wood paneling and cushy furniture reminiscent of a Victorian style Irish pub. Give it a try!

Great vibes with great drinks, both for coffee hours (morning) and happy hours (night). Probably the only speakeasy bar that I would recommend since here plays soft jazzy soundtracks with quiet low key vibes. Good place for loner and groups that dislike the lousy bars and expect a mellow comfy style.

i came here to hang out with friends during the holiday, and it fills up quickly, so make sure to arrive early to get a spot. they offer friendly staff, a cozy atmosphere, a diverse menu, and great background music. especially i love the charming vintage design. the prices are a little higher than other places, but it's definitely worth it. i’d love to come back for the bar version.

A hidden cafe (daytime) and bar (night time) on a very narrow alley. A staff will guide you to the place outside the alley so as to make sure u get into the right place. The cafe gets a nice greenery outdoor area , and a dark tone European vintage bar vibe indoor area. Staff: helpful and friendly. Drink: Quite special as I seldom see Tonic orange in Vietnam.

It was such a hidden gem, very difficult for me to find the way here. its located in a small path of the street but there is a staff occasionally standing outside to greet you and let you know the coffee is indeed inside. The place is cozy and warm, a bit dark but its looks very vintage. There's a small bar space with path on the outside covered in greens. I ordered 2 drinks, one is their special "trốn", a latte with hint of herbs, such as anise, cinnamon and other stuff, it feels like a bowl of phở broth with coffee and milk, weird yet satisfying and aromatic. The other drink I ordered was a cold brew with lychee flavour, the not too strong smell of coffee with the infused lychee flavour is aromatic and fruity, yet taste like an americano. Its good and unique.

Cool hidden cocktail bar at night. We had trouble finding our way at night since there are no signs and streets were pretty empty. Turns out they have a worker seated out on the main street with a walkie-talkie that will help you if you ask for the Tron Cafe/Cocktail Bar. He will notify the staff inside and they'll meet you at the front and help serve you. He led us through the alleyway to the cafe/bar since it seems pretty residential through the alley and you wouldn't expect a cafe/bar in the area. Cute hidden gem tucked away. Great atmosphere with chill music and low lighting. Drinks were a bit sweet, but there are many options and probably could have asked for customization or adjustments. It was a bit warm inside, but that could have just been me since I really need A/C blasting to feel comfortable in the Vietnam heat.
